-> What did Lan eat for….? (Dựa theo công thức Wh – did + S + N ( nguyên)?

-> arrived, were
h) That (be) ______ better than waiting for three hours.
-> was (động từ chia ở số nhiều)
i) His mother ….. (come) in, …..(look) around and …..(tell) him to tidy up his room.
-> came, looked, told
k) No sooner we (sell)….. our car than we(regret)…. having done so.
-> had they sold (chia theo thì quá khứ hoàn thành – dấu hiệu nhận biết – No sooner), regretted (chia theo thì quá khứ đơn).

2.1. Viết lại câu từ thì hiện tại đơn sang quá khứ đơn

-> David sold the blue chair at a fair
2.2. Chia động từ và viết lại câu theo những từ gợi ý

2.3. Viết lại câu theo dạng bị động
a) The company fired five employees
-> Five employees were fired by the company.
b)The teacher explained the lesson to the students.
The chemistry teacher explained the lesson to her students.
-> The lesson was explained by the chemistry teacher to her students.
c) Lam gave me a gift for my birthday.
-> A gift for my birthday was given to me by Lam.
2.4. Viết lại câu sang thể phủ định (hoặc khẳng định) và nghi vấn
a) Chalid didn’t send me a letter apologizing for being late for my appointment last Monday.
(+) Chalid sent me a letter apologizing for being late for his appointment last Monday.
(?) Did Chalid send you a letter apologizing for being late to your appointment last Monday?
b) Nga and I always had a nice time on Tet holidays in the past.
(-) Nga and I didn’t always have a nice time on Tet holidays in the past.

3. Dạng bài tập hoàn thành đoạn văn
